Salomey Akpowverha Eferemo holds a bachelor’s degree course in Drama/ English in Ahmadu Bello University Zaria Kaduna (ABU). She served as a National Youth Corps Member in Bauchi state. After service was employed by the NTA and was there for 13 years. She also worked with the Africa Independent Television (AIT) as part of the frontline management team member that set up the AIT, as Manager Programs and retired as Executive Director Programs after 4years break. At ATI a children’s art club was established by the programs department, that she headed then and children were trained in creative skills, such as; painting, molding, storytelling, drawing and acting. This was in collaboration with Jimi Solanke and others Also she was a Media practitioner and advocate for vaccine uptake on HPV Related cancers of COVID Vaccines. She served as Manager Programs and Executive Director on the board of DAAR Communications Plc at different times. She also runs a private media consulting firm, and currently serving Board Member at ASPI. She had a presentation at the congress on the topic ROLE OF MEDIA IN COVID VACCINE UPTAKE AND ACCEPTANCE IN NIGERIA.”
